New classroom resources to promote mental wellbeing launched

To mark the beginning of the new academic year, Walk in My Shoes (WIMS) is launching our new 2023/24 resources to support teachers and schools promote positive mental health in classrooms.

We’ve some free resources for your schools! Primary and secondary school teachers can request a handy year planner to prepare your wellbeing goals and activities for the 2023/24 academic year. We also have some colorful posters to fill your classroom and school spaces with messages of motivation and positivity, the posters are now available in the Irish language!

We’ve designed this to be a bright and colourful addition to your classroom, and to help you plan creative and meaningful wellbeing activities. 

We've also highlighted this as the first of five easy steps you can take to grow your school's approach to and action on mental health and wellbeing!

Add motivational and positive messages to boost your student’s mood and confidence, includes statements such as ‘You do you”, “Always remember you’ve got this” and “Always remember to be kind”.
