WIMS Live

WIMS Live is an exciting online programme of wellbeing events, activities and curated content to celebrate World Mental Health Day.

Putting the spotlight on mental health

WIMS Live aims to bring people together and shine a light on the things we can all do to look after ourselves and each other.

Putting the spotlight on mental health

Every year, we line up some of Ireland’s top mental health experts, wellbeing ambassadors, and special guests to explore a wide range of mental health topics.

WIMS Live came back for 2022, launching on World Mental Health Day itself, Monday, 10 October.

Running until Sunday, 16 October, this year’s WIMS Live took a deep dive into some important mental health and wellbeing topics.

We looked at a range of mental health difficulties, including those that can sometimes be less talked about or understood, like bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders and more.

The campaign focused on learning more about mental health; exploring how we can support people; and talking about ways we can help to end stigma or misunderstanding around mental health.

We had expert information from mental health clinicians, along with stories of lived experience from people who have gone through mental health recovery.

Of course, WIMS Live also brought different opportunities where we can renew ourselves and practice self-care, sharing wellbeing tips and bringing the feel-good factor along the way.
