WIMS Radio, Ireland AM & Guinness World Record

Each October during Mental Health Week ‘Walk In My Shoes Radio’ broadcasts a week of programmes across Ireland on FM DAB & Online. Starting back in 2014 as Upbeat On Air, Walk In My Shoes Radio has now broadcast over 280 hours of live radio from St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services. On FM in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow, Kildare & Longford and to all Ireland via online streaming, WIMS FM is Ireland’s first all digital pop up radio for mental health.

On 10th October 2016 (World Mental Health Awareness Day), our pop up radio station was back for World Mental Health Week with over 70 hours of live shows throughout the week. This was our strongest year to date in terms of production value, presenter line-up and calibre of guests.

We had TV3’s breakfast show, Ireland AM broadcast an entire full show from here in St Patrick’s for World Mental Health Day. Interviewees included U2’s Adam Clayton, broadcaster Eoghan McDermott, Minister Helen McEntee and Paul Gilligan.

She has been involved with WIMS from its inception. Victor and William Clarke, Solicitors in Carlow, who challenge themselves physically and mentally.
